The Stowaway has been around for a long time, and for good reason. It was designed to be as lightweight as possible with a very minimalistic build. The shirt snugly fits into a little pouch at the back of the neck, secured with a drawstring and toggle that can be removed when worn with chest rigs or packs.
It's small and light enough to be thrown into a daypack, vehicle glove compartment or jacket pocket, you'll hardly notice it's there until the weather turns and you need that extra layer.
The textile is a light minirip nylon with a DWR finish, showerproof and highly breathable. The whole garment weighs under 200g (based on size M).
