A220 Mammoth Shirt W/ Hood

The A220 is one of Arktis's most popular products, and for good reason. Serving as a key piece in your layering system, the Mammoth is a superb insulation piece that doesn't compromise on warmth or durability. With a sturdy ripstop outer shell, it sets itself apart from most insulation pieces by acting as a mid-layer and outer shell at once, because you need warmth the most in the harshest conditions. The fibre-pile lining is rugged and warm, naturally trapping insulating warm air pockets close to the body.

Hidden inside the collar is a nylon hood, for use when you need to block unexpected wind, rain or snow. When the weather settles down, just pack it away again and keep going.

The over-the-head design uses a quarter-length chest zip plus two-directional zips on either side of the body, making it easier to slip on and off, access pockets underneath, or vent quickly. The front top-loading zippered pocket holds maps, notebooks and snacks close to hand, with a pass-through hand-warmer pocket behind it, lined with the same fibre-pile.
