The Sidewinder X is a right-angle tactical light built primarily for military use, with a head that tilts up to 185° and a gear clip for flexible positioning on a vest, helmet or uniform. It's offered in a Military configuration (white/red/blue/IR LEDs), an Aviation configuration (white/green/blue/IR LEDs) and a user-configurable model.
A pull-to-turn locking rotary selector switches between white, IR and color LEDs, each with high, medium 2, medium 1, low and strobe modes. The housing is high-impact nylon with an unbreakable polycarbonate lens carrying a scratch-resistant coating, and the cord attachment hole supports a 50 lb load.
The light is IPX7 waterproof (1 meter for 30 minutes) and tested to a 3-meter impact drop, running on two AA alkaline batteries or one CR123A lithium battery. It's assembled in the USA and carries a 1-year limited warranty.
