The Streamlight Trident is a rugged headlamp built for industrial use and all-weather outdoor work. It pairs a single white spot LED for distance lighting with three white flood LEDs for close-up tasks, making it equally suited to walking a job site or working on fine detail.
The head tilts up to 90° to reduce neck fatigue during extended wear, and the housing is molded from polycarbonate with an elastomer over mold and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses. The light is tested to withstand a 2-meter impact drop and carries an IPX7 waterproof rating (1 meter submersion for 30 minutes).
It runs on three included AAA alkaline batteries, and ships with both an elastic head strap and a rubber hard hat strap. A blinking low-battery indicator warns before power runs out, and the LEDs carry a rated 50,000-hour lifetime.
